Breast Augmention

A breast augmentation, involves the use of breast implants to increase the size of your breasts.

Breast augmentation can sometime correct natural breast asymmetry, restore breast volume lost after weight loss or pregnancy, and achieve a more proportional and aesthetically pleasing breast shape.

The limitations of breast augmentation surgery

A breast augmentation cannot correct significant physical sagginess. For sagging breasts to look fuller and lifted, a breast lift and breast augmentation may be combined.

Breast lifting can often be done at the same time as your augmentation or may require a separate operation. Your plastic surgeon will assist you in making this decision.

Breast Lift

By removing excess skin and shifting the surrounding tissues, a breast lift reshapes and supports a new breast contour.

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, breast lifts have grown 70% since 2000, outpacing breast implants 2-to-1.

Your breast profile will appear more youthful and uplifted following a breast lift. Over time, breasts may lose their shape and firmness. Skin elasticity can be affected by the following factors:

  1. Pregnancy
  2. Breastfeeding
  3. Weight fluctuations
  4. Aging
  5. Gravity
  6. Heredity

The limitations of breast lift surgery

Your breasts will not be enlarged following breast lift surgery. Consider breast lifts and breast augmentation if you want fuller breasts or an increase in cup size.

Consider combining breast lift surgery or breast reduction surgery if you want smaller breasts.

Tummy Tuck

Abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck surgery, removes excess fat and skin and, in most cases, restores weakened muscles to create a smoother and firmer abdominal profile.

Many of us strive for a flat, toned abdomen through exercise and weight control that can add the desired outcomes when diet and exercise are not enough.

Despite having a normal body weight and proportion, individuals can develop an expandable or loose abdomen. The most common causes of this include:

  • Aging
  • Heredity
  • Pregnancy
  • Prior surgery
  • Significant fluctuations in weight

The limitations of tummy tuck surgery

The tummy tuck is not a substitute for exercise or weight loss.

Despite the fact that a tummy tuck produces permanent results, significant fluctuations in weight can greatly diminish a positive outcome. Therefore, individuals who are planning substantial weight loss or women who are considering future pregnancies should postpone a tummy tuck.

In the case of excess skin that will be excised, stretch marks may be removed or somewhat improved by a tummy tuck.

Liposuction

Liposuction is a surgical procedure for removing fat from specific areas of the body, such as the abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, arms or neck. This is done with the use of a suction technique. Furthermore, liposuction can shape (contour) these areas. Liposuction is an established technique for body contouring.

Liposuction is not typically considered a weight-loss solution or an alternative method. With diet and exercise, or bariatric procedures, such as gastric bypass surgery, you are more likely to lose weight than with liposuction if you are overweight.

In the case of excessive body fat in specific areas but otherwise stable weight, you may be a candidate for liposuction
